What Is SimplyGram?
SimplyGram, simply put (if you’ll pardon the pun), advertise themselves as an organic Instagram growth agency. As you’ll have come to understand if you have researched Instagram growth, organic growth agencies are the newest and biggest thing on the market in terms of Insta-success, with many people relying on them to kickstart their online presence. Their website states that you’ll be able to grow your Instagram followers by up to 5,000 - all organically, meaning they’ll be real followers, no bots or fakes.
How Does SimplyGram Work?
SimplyGram uses their simplicity as one of their main selling points. As soon as you go on to the website, you’re met with their “3 easy steps” heading. What are these steps we hear you ask? They are as follows: Firstly, tell them about your audience. They ask you to provide them with examples of the types of account you are interested in engaging with, together with any hashtags that have followers you would like to attract. They will then use this to create your own personal growth plan. Then, they will try to grow your Instagram using the “mother/child method” - setting up between 25 and 100 accounts on your behalf, messaging people with a link to your page. This, they claim, will then (step 3) be the organic way of growing your Instagram, as people will be led to your profile. SimplyGram does not require your password in order to do this, only your username. They also have a free trial (3 days), which lets you try out their service for free.
Our Experience With SimplyGram
So with our review here, we’re going to keep it simple. There were some things we liked, and some things we disliked. Let’s start with the former. Their website layout is really visually pleasing, with essentially all information you could need about their service pretty much displayed on their homepage. The simplicity takes away a lot of the stress of researching and trying to find answers to your questions. We chose their individual package at $69 a week. This consisted of (a supposed) 40 accounts sending us traffic each week. As this is an organic growth service, no specific number of followers can be guaranteed or specified. They offered a cancel anytime option which was great, too. Now, for the parts we didn’t like so much. Unfortunately, despite what they say, no detailed targeting is available. You’ll include a general summary of the types of accounts you wish to attract, but that’s it. No hashtag targeting or more detailed options. Furthemore, to our disappointment, there’s no dashboard feature. If you want to chase your growth or obtain statistics or figures, you’ll have to contact their team directly, which seems like a waste of time. Also, it is very expensive. Charging this amount per week is what others charge per month for the same service.
So, yes, there are some good features of this service. Their 3-day free trial being one of them, but their lack of a dashboard and high prices didn’t quite make us feel as if it was worth it.
Like a lot of other companies, SimplyGram homed in on the market after organic growth became a real trend, namely as a result of automated services coming to Instagram's attention, and people having their accounts suspended due to use of bots. While it has not been around for as long as some of the other companies, they’ve received a fairly popular customer base.
Taking all of the above points into consideration, our final thoughts on SimplyGram are a bit of a mixed bag. Yes, they offer organic Instagram growth. This is, afterall, the only safe way of growing your Instagram currently, without doing it yourself. We liked the fact that they have an FAQ section, and obviously take their customers' concerns or queries quite seriously. However, it’s hard to totally endorse a service that doesn’t go all the way in assisting their customers; their lack of dashboard feature is, in our opinion, a real let down. Especially considering the fact that this has become almost a standard feature of most organic growth agencies.
Furthermore, we just can’t get behind their prices. $69 per week is their cheapest package, and even that seems extortionate. We do believe that the service should be reflected by the price, and yes, we did receive new followers as we were promised, yet it seems illogical for us to choose a service that charges more than other companies that are pretty much offering the same service.
